As in a movie trailer where the key shots of the movie excite the viewer's curiosity, O Monstro da Porta da Frente picks film genres and iconic soundtracks to pay tribute to the cinema - the seventh art and the movie theaters as well.

Aiming at the children's audience, the show directed by Kiko Marques enters the neighborhood movie theaters, a point of community hangout and fun that are about to disappear.  The girl Laura, with her smartphone, creates scenes of old movies and meets the Usher that embodies the place's memory.

The girl becomes the key player of a mission: to convince the dwellers, gradually expelled from their homes, to boycott the plastic products store that is transforming the neighborhood and will occupy the building of the old movie theater. Fighting against slogans and cliches, Laura tries to make the residents aware of the importance of keeping the cinema alive.

A Digna
In its eleven years, the company from São Paulo investigates the city's space with performances and shows. In 2021, besides exhibiting O Monstro da Porta da Frente, the group closes a trilogy of adult shows about the effects of gentrification in São Paulo.
