This debate brings together partners and creators of TePI – Teatro e os Povos Indígenas (Theatre and Indigenous Peoples) for the launch of the TePI platform, a digital environment that will provide national and international content. In this meeting, the participants introduce the platform and the concepts that guided its development. Led by artistic director Andreia Duarte, co-curated by Ailton Krenak, the platform will also hold meetings between indigenous and non-indigenous intellectuals to discuss several topics.


Fully free of charge, TePI will host an artistic showcase with plays, performances, and “healing acts”. The meetings will focus on subjects such as culture, the art market, environmentalism, and spirituality. Altogether, around 71 activities, including videos and other content, will be launched on TePI between November 2021 and March 2022.


Ailton Krenak
Philosopher and writer, he is one of the greatest contemporary political and intellectual leaders, with a fundamental role in the fight for indigenous rights and in the creation of initiatives such as the Union of Indigenous Nations and the Forest Peoples Alliance. He is co-curator of the TePi – Teatro e Povos Indígenas platform.


Aline Torres
A public relations graduate with a post-graduate degree in cultural project management, she was deputy secretary of Innovation and Technology in the city of São Paulo, where she currently works as a municipal culture officer. Activist of the black and feminist movements, she is also ambassador of Conselho Pan-Africano (Pan- African Council) international organization in Brazil.


Andreia Duarte
Actress, curator and artistic director, she researches the intersection between theater and indigenous peoples as spaces for the reinvention of life. She is the artistic director of Outra Margem production company, which curates and produces artistic productions such as the TePI – Teatro e os Povos Indígenas digital platform.


Danilo Santos de Miranda
Danilo Santos de Miranda is a cultural manager graduated in philosophy and social sciences, having done complementary studies in business management at the International Institute for Management Development (IMD), in Switzerland. He is the organizer of the book Ética e Cultura (Ethics and Culture), and others, and director of Sesc São Paulo.


Renata Tupinambá
Aratykyra - Indian name of the journalist, visual artist, curator, and producer Renata Tupinambá – she is founder of the Originárias Produções and cofounder of Rádio Yande, the first web radio about the Brazilian original people. For 15 she has been working on spreading indigenous culture, participating as the curator of festivals like Festival Corpos da Terra (2021), Mostra Etnomídia Indígena (2021), Indígenas BR 2021, Escuta Festiva 2021 (IMS-RJ), and Slam Coalkan, the firs indigenous slam in the world. She is part of the Amotara Zabelê, in the State of Bahia.
